My girlfriend and I went out with Cozumel H20 on 1/12/15 for our first scuba experience ever! We took a cheap cab ride from our cruise ship over to Port La Caleta where wet met with our dive instructor Miguel. We had met Miguel a year ago on a snorkel trip we took with H20 and had an awesome trip. We knew we were in good hands. On our way to the first dive spot he gave us our crash course in scuba and made certain we understood everything. We arrived at our first spot where we learned to retrieve and clear our air regulator, and how to recover from getting water in our masks. Once Miguel felt confident with our newly acquired skills he took us to Colombia reef shallow for our first deep dive (30 ft). Miguel was patient and cautious when taking us on our tour of the reef… Amazing. We then took a brief intermission were Miguel set us up with bottled water and fresh fruit. Then it was off to Santa Rosa wall. We saw huge coral formations and where the wall drops into the deep blue a must see. Overall this was an experience of a lifetime and I would highly recommend that you go out with Cozumel H20 ask for Miguel.
